Under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, users may copy, redistribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the published material for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the Journal of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, and that the applicable license terms are respected.

Users should consult the specific license information associated with each published article before reusing, adapting, or distributing its content.

2.2. Author Copyright and Rights

Unless otherwise specified in the applicable publishing agreement, authors retain copyright in their published work while granting users the rights provided under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license.

The license permits non-commercial sharing and adaptation of the published work, subject to appropriate attribution and compliance with all applicable license conditions.

Nothing in these Terms of Use transfers ownership of copyright from the authors to JMID or its publisher unless such transfer is expressly agreed in writing.

2.3. Website Content and Journal Branding

The CC BY-NC 4.0 license applicable to published articles does not automatically apply to the JMID website design, journal logo, trademarks, branding, editorial interface, or other website-specific materials that are not part of an individual article.

Such materials remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws and may not be reproduced, modified, distributed, or commercially exploited without appropriate authorization.

2.4. Third-Party Material

Some articles may contain images, figures, tables, datasets, or other material belonging to third parties. Such material may be subject to copyright or licensing conditions different from the CC BY-NC 4.0 license.
