The Journal of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (JMID) is a fully open-access journal committed to providing immediate, free, and unrestricted access to its published content.

All published articles are freely available online to readers immediately upon publication, without subscription or access fees. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of articles without prior permission from the journal or publisher, subject to the terms of the applicable Creative Commons license.

JMID's open-access policy is consistent with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

Online Accessibility and Article Identification

All articles published by JMID are made immediately and permanently available online following completion of the publication process.

Each published article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref, providing a persistent identifier and facilitating reliable citation, linking, and long-term discoverability.

Copyright and Licensing

JMID publishes its articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

Authors retain the copyright to their published work. By publishing with JMID, authors grant the journal and its publisher the necessary rights to publish, reproduce, distribute, and make the article publicly available under the terms of the applicable Creative Commons license.

The Journal of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (JMID) is committed to the long-term preservation and continued accessibility of its published scholarly content.
